First, I’ll tell you a bit more about the company and then I will share my personal experience with Duluth Trading Company clothing. The simple innovation of adding three extra inches of shirt body length solved the age old, notorious problem of “Plumber’s Butt.”

That is why I chose Duluth when I was looking for base layers and and socks for my husband and some new jeans for myself. I am all about quality products that last and are comfortable.

Duluth Trading Men’s Sizing
One word about the Duluth Trading Co. sizing. I’d say it runs a bit generous. My husband isn’t a big guy but he is a tall guy so I am always ordering a size larger just to get it long enough but since they seem a bit on the generous size I think I should have ordered his actual size instead of a size up.
Duluth Trading Socks
The 7 Year Performance Sock line is all about long lasting socks. My husband tested the Men’s 7-Year Performance Over-the-calf Socks on our ski trip and since we have been back. Obviously, I can’t speak to the seven years or the durability yet but I can tell you they did a great job keeping him comfortable, warm, and drying quickly. The 7-Year Socks are designed to fight fatigue, control temperature, manage moisture and cushion shock. Duluth Trading Co. put the 7-Year Performance socks through abrasion testing and they lasted 7x longer than the nearest competitors. That is pretty cool!

Work Clothes From Duluth Trading Women Will Dig
When it comes to work clothes women will enjoy a wide variety of casual business attire. One of the most popular pieces is the women’s no-yank tanks. They are great for layering. They are a perfect fabric (95% cotton/5% spandex) stay put even if you are active at work.
Duluth Trading Jeans
I was excited to get some Duluth Trading Jeans for myself. For some reason all my jeans are developing holes in weird places like below my belt loop or next to the butt pockets. The sound of Duluth Trading Jeans that stand up to work is promising even though the only work I plan to do in them is some minor gardening and cleaning up the house! The Women’s DuluthFlex Daily Slim Leg Jeans are nice enough to pair with a stylish shirt and some heels and rugged enough to pair with some garden boots and an old t-shirt. I like versatility.
I also like that the demin has some small amount of stretch but not so much they feel flimsy. They still feel like a nice medium weight demin with just a tiny bit of stretch. Duluth Trading Co. advanced S Gene™ yarn technology creates a fabric that’s incredibly flexible, yet has twice the rebound ability. I really love my Duluth work clothes for getting out in the garden.
Duluth Trading Shirts
The Women’s Hemp Cap Sleeve Shirt caught my eye because I love eco-friendly fabrics like hemp. Fun fact- Did you know that hemp was used to weave the very first American flag? It is very similar to linen in it airy woven quality but it is smoother and stronger. In this Hemp Cap Sleeve Shirt, Duluth Trading Co. mixed it with organic cotton to create a fabric that’s remarkably soft and durable. Even though it looks like a pure style piece, it has the work clothes features you expect from Duluth including a long tail and an inverted box pleat for freedom of movement and to keep my butt covered while I plant those flower beds!
Duluth Trading Women’s Sizing
Another word about the Duluth Trading Co. sizing- I’d say it runs a bit generous for women as well. The coverage is also a bit generous which is great. By that I mean the jeans waistline doesn’t dip way to low and the shirt length covers the waistline. The Duluth Trading women line has lots of really nice fashionable pieces that function well while you work actively but still look great and be comfortable.
